I have an HP Colorjet 2840 running under Windows 7 Professional I would like to uninstall and reinstall. I am having an issue with documents that are not 8.5 X 11 printing correctly. For example, I print file folder labels, Avery 5202, and the labels print correctly except they print one cell down from where they show on the screen. I would like to uninstall and reinstall the printer to try and correct this problem. Or, does anyone have any other ideas?

It looks to me like this was an older printer designed for the XP days and HP tried to port a driver in that may not have full functionality. You can always try a uninstall/reinstall and see if there is anything corrupt inherently in the current install, but you might be in a pickle if it doesnt work. Ive had issues on new printers that HP had out right before Win7 and Win8 and the afterthought driver was not complete. You can always contact HP and voice your issue and hopefully if enough do, they will push a new update for that driver/OS.

Best of Luck!
