I have a CallPilot 201i

I'm trying to set my user up for Unified Messaging soon. I'm currently running it right now on my PC. My problem is I can forward voicemail messages to people's email accounts. Woks Great.

If I you use the Call Pilot Address box and try to forward a message to another person's call pilot mailbox it won't send the message.

I get:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: FWD: (5159) 0:07 Voice Message
Sent: 7/30/2004 4:45 PM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'Dalida, Brandon' on 7/30/2004 4:45 PM
SMTP failure. The CallPilot transport could not submit the message to the server (0).


Any ideas would be appreciated.

check for network blockage on your smtp port, i think it's 25 still, do an extended ping to port 25. if your using pop3 or pop3 you may want to google "well known ports". they are 109 and 110. i think the cp uses smtp only, but i've had problems in the past with port blockage. my ping (port 21) worked but pinging the port i was trying to use helped locate the problem
