I have a customer with unified messaging installed on outlook 2003 and Windows XP. When a message is left in his voice mail box the MWI indication on the toolbar flashes for a second and then goes back to black (no new messages)I have reinstalled the application a few times and have even deleted and readded the voice mail box. Under properties in the call pilot in outlook I have to automatically dectect new messgaes and to turn mwi on in the toolbar. Any help would be appreciated.

Option11newby is right. Turn off preview pane for Callpilot in Outlook and that should solve your problem.

There were also issues with the Google tool bar causing the same problem.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.
