Dear All,

There is BCM running at customer site. They are using Unified Messaging (Express Messaging) Feature. They are able to receive and send voice and fax within local area. But when it comes to international calls (00 Country code, Area Code, Phone Number) it gives message back that the fax cant be sent due to dialing restriction.

I have check the restriction filters and dialing plan, but i found nothing. Thers is not retriction has been programmed and I setup dialing plan with prefix 00 to 20 DN length.

I run the BCM monitor, then I tried to send a fax. It does not show that the fax is going out from CP DN (no dialing process).

Need your help.

Give your active application DN's access to the pool that the PSTN trunks are in. Also, make sure the outdial type on the mailboxes in question is set to route.

Dear

I have given the access to the active application DN's to the respected pool (PRI-A). Also the outdial type has been configured properly to have the required access route.

The active application DN's able to access the route, if there is a fax within local area. But when it comes to international fax it shows that message.

Can you dial international calls from any other set on the system? Might be blocked by your LD carrier. You mentioned that you checked restriction filters - did you check the filters on the lines as well as the sets?

Dear

Yes, users are able to dial international number from their sets.

I have check both, the set and line restriction, but no filters programmed to prevent the international calls.

Could you please explain what you by (blocked by the LD carrier)?

Dear All,

Any idea regarding this issue. Please your help will be highly appreciated.

Dear All,

Regards,

Alaa
