Unified Messaging /Outlook Question

Is anyone familiar with outlook 2003 and call pilot player?
It seems Outlook was updated and now when voicemails are downloaded to the PC Outlook doesn't associate them with the player. Instead of a phone icon I now have a memo pad so when I attempt to play the message a generic box opens up with no player controls. Thanks for any help with this.

Have you tried re-assocating the player?

I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled. This worked a few months ago with the last batch of windows updates but not this time.

I hate it when software gets 'updated' right into the toilet.......

i had this problem last week all i had to do was reboot the callpilot 150 and then restart the outlook,

one machine i had to reinstall the unified messaging

the new messages worked fine but the messages already in the mailbox would not work had to forward the messages(from the mailbox to the mailbox)
eg in mailbox 300 forward message by pressing 5 and sending to 300
