Don't know if anyone else has run across this problem or not, but figured I'd pass it along.
New BCM install, desktop clients were not able to fax out (yes, everything was set up on the BCM correctly)
When attempting to send a fax using the desktop client user received Windows pop-up message "The server is not available. Either you are not connected to the network or..."
Problem turned ot to be with the antivirus program used on the client's network which utilizes SMTP port blocking; the solution is to add nmquick.exe to the exception list on the AV client.
