Hello all.

Does anyone know of a player that will play the CallPilot audio files on a Mac?

Alternatively, does anyone know of a program that will convert those callpilot files to a standard audio file type (.wav etc.)

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Rob.

You can find them though Google, there Freeware, Shareware and the expensive kind. Look under Audio file converters.

There's no freeware program I'm aware of that will convert a VBK to any other standard, short of the CallPilot player itself (which will let you save a VBK as a WAV).

But, what you can do, is download the Macintosh VBK player off a "Big CallPilot" (Meridian/CSE/CS1000 based) that has the CallPilot Web Messaging or MyCallPilot option enabled. You can then play messages that way.

You can suck the messages off the BCM using IMAP (directly onto your Macintosh), and then use the mailbox extension/password as the credentials to log into the IMAP side of the CallPilot.

I know nothing about macs but I do know if you can get the files on to a outlook or internet mail client there is an option on unified messaging to send the file on as a wav file to all clients without unified messaging.
