I read from previous thread that you can download message automatically as a wav file so that you can email it to anywhere you want.I cannot find the procedure from the BCM50
documentation on how to do it.
The objective here is to connect to the BCM via IMAP port on exchange server to forward to users mbox so it can be read from a blackberry.

Create an IMAP account in the microsoft outlook.User name equals your mailbox number @XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX (IP address of your BCM)and your mailbox password.Fill up the IMAP Server and SMTP Server, together with your user name and password for that account and it should forward to your inbox. No solution yet for conversion from vbk to wav for blackberry support. You can download a vbk player from Nortel if you will play it through your laptop. On the IMAP server, others use the services of DYDNS or ODS.IS technicians might explain this better.

vappl,

Are you saying that you have this working now? That all your messages end up in one inbox?

Any chance of a few more details? This problem keeps coming up in thread after thread.

NARSBARS

NARSBARS,
Yes, my client is an IT guy and helps get it setup.
Go to tools in MS outlook, create IMAP account,Fill up the user information your name=mbox name, Email address=221@192.168.1.2, logon information User name=221, Password 1234.The IMAP SERVER,SMTP Server to be filled up by your client or IT. IMAP Server is normally the same as your SMTP server, say xxx@dydns.org
That's why I said an IT expert should continue explain this thread.
As we know when you use IMAP it automatically use port 143.
The IT will open up firewall for port 143.
Numbers above are just examples.Hope this helps.
