Unified Messaging -Cisco Unity/Exchange 20003 Question....

What happens to the user's v-messages if his or her exchange account has been deleted but the Unity account stays up and keeps receiving messages? Where do the message go?

All attributes of that user is stored in exchange. If the user is deleted from exchange there is no message store anymore. Delete the Unity user acct and you are good

whykap, Thanks..but happens to the new incomming messages if I don't delete the Unity account?

They probably go into whatever account you have set up to receive undeliverable messages, usually Example Administrator.
