Hi, I have a problem with a new laptop running Windows 10 Home, using the Unified Console.

I open the program as usual, but when I select the system model drop down menu, it freezes, the program stops responding, and I have to force quit to get out of it.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling three different versions (5, 6 and 7) to no avail. I have no such issues with my old Windows 7 machine - an insights?

Thanks!

I had a similar issue, but mine was caused by using the windows on screen keyboard, (The x key was faulty on the laptop)

Thanks, but that's not the issue here - I'm using the regular keyboard.

Problem solved - thanks bigglesnz11 - your comment prompted me to go looking on another forum about issues with touch-screen laptops running Windows 10, and I followed their advice and disabled the corresponding touch-screen driver in Devices. Lo and behold, Unified Console now works flawlessly. I never used the touch-screen anyway! :)
