Can root access be recovered? It would seem that nobody know the password.
 
reimaging might be easier, but in any event, single user mode might do it as the previous post says, but both need a USB keyboard and HDMI
 
Why do you need it?

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
 
log on to web administration
you can set the root password from their

otherwise you will need a kerboard & monitor & boot into single user mode (I have not tried this on a UCM)


A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
 
It will not work with a keyboard, mouse and monitor. Nifty setup by Avaya
 
Are you sure integrant?
I have used a monotor ion one before (I think the Monitor needs to be connected before booting though)

Luckily we were able to locate the password. We are working with some pre-recorded wav files and wanted to add some to the IVR.
