I'm not yet an Access user, but I'm looking for a Unicode-compliant replacement for Visual Foxpro.

Can anybody tell me whether Access 2007 is truly Unicode-enabled? I.e., that it does not just show a glyph in accordance to which font is being used to view the data, but that the data itself has the Unicode embedded within it, so that exports to other Unicode-enabled programs, text files etc., continue to show the correct character.

Thanks in advance!

Graham
