I have a Octel 250 with 3.10.09-1.

When I build a new MB the default is a "No" for unheard message reminder. Is there a way that I can change the default to yes. Also, is there a way that I can do a global change for the mail boxes that are presently built? I would like to change the NO'S to Yes's for the unheard message reminders.

I think the Mailbox Manager application will allow you to make a global change to that field.

Chuck RT is right and if yoou do not have MBM then you must do every MB or use Mailbox builder to change them.

As it turns out, I don't have the MBM. After looking into this request that I got further, it seems that the system now always tells the end user that there is a new message even if its skipped over. I looked at the system parameter programming, which I think overrides everything else and it is already set at a Y for unheard message reminder. I went back to the requester and explained that everyone gets a reminder already. No need for any changes at the end user level.
Thanks for the replies.

Yes the setting below is system wide and will tell users that they have unheard messages. The setting in the user mailbox is used to tell users that they ended their last session with unheard messages. Meaning that they hung-up but did not listen to all of their new messages.

They are not the same setting
