Unhandled Exception when trying to Format or Recreate 1

I was at a customer's site yesterday who has an IPO 11.0.4 with a 100% full SD card - most mailboxes are empty and only a few have any stored messages at all. After removing the SD card and erasing all of the files in the Dynamic LVMAIL folder as another post suggested I attempted to recreate the card but kept getting an Unhandled Exception error. I tried using both my laptop's built-in SD reader and two different USB-SD readers. At that point I assumed the SD card was toast so put it back in the IPO and left.
Back at the office I attempted to format and recreate a replacement Avaya IPO SD card, but got the same error both times with my laptop. I uninstalled Manager, copied the .cfg files to my desktop and deleted the Manager folder. Reinstalled Manager from a different source and am still getting the same error. I was able to use a different PC to format and recreate this replacement card so I know it's not a bad card.
Obviously the problem is with my laptop (W10 Pro), but don't know what to do to fix it. Manager has always run fine for everything else I do on a daily basis.
As always any help would be appreciated.

Have you considered, possibly a bad SD card slot, or bad driver for it?

Also, if your customer's SD card was full, did you happen to check that the "Lock" switch (along the left edge) is not in the lock position? This will prevent data from being erased from the card (including deleted voicemails). I had this happen recently. I can only surmise, in my case, that it got locked while inserting the card into the slot in an enclosed space.

Please remember... If it's not the way that YOU would do it, that does not necessarily mean it's wrong. EVERYONE knows SOMETHING that you do not.

Thanks for the suggestions. It appears something with my laptop is the issue. The card 8s not locked, I checked that first.
The problem happens both with my laptop's in-skin SD slot and an external USB-SD reader.
I could use a different laptop to format and recreate the SD card so it's not the card either.
We found a 0 byte file in the LVMAIL folder which when deleted dropped the card down from 100% full to 30%

I had the same issue.
I uninstall manager, delete the ipoffice folder in program files, reboot my pc and install manager again and it worked.

Details
When attempting to upgrade IP500v2 from 9.1 SP12 to 11.1 FP2 SP2 the Upgrade Wizard is getting an unhandled exception - "Input string was not in a correct format". The error is displayed after clicking the Upgrade button but before getting prompted for the System password.
Problem Clarification
Unable to complete upgrade of IP500v2 from 9.1 SP12 to 11.1 FP2 SP2; getting unhandled exception "Input string was not in a correct format" before getting prompted for System password.
Cause
Attempting to upgrade directly from 9.1 to 11.1 FP2 SP2 without interim upgrade to 11.0 FP4.
Solution
Upgrade to 11.0 FP4 first, then upgrade to 11.1 FP2 SP2. Alternatively can recreate SD card directly on 11.1 FP2 SP2.

Further to my previous post the above issue occurred yesterday while trying to use Manager to upgrade an IPO from 9.1 to 11.1. I was able to successfully re-create the card as suggested above and all is good.

Although Avaya's published solution only mentions Manager upgrades from 9.1 to 11.1 I also had the Unhandled Exception issue occur when trying to re-create an 8.1 (95) card to 11.1. I suspect that the 8.1 (95) card would have to be re-created to 9.1 then used to boot up the IPO, then re-created to 11.1 to work properly.

I got the same error when trying to upgrade a 9.1.10 system to 11.1.2.3 system. I upgraded to 11.0.4 general release then to 11.1.2.3. Thanks Nortel4Ever for the information.

If your not going to it right don't bother doing it at all!
