I've been successfully exporting cdr files to both psd and jpeg formats since I've had Corel. Now when I try to export, the default scaling properties are as follows:
Width: 6.08903 inches - 67%
Height: 8.something inches - 38%
Resolution: 1561 dpi (wtf?)
"Maintain Original Size" is checked.
Here's the thing; none of those are accurate, and I don't even know when I'd use 1500 dpi. Those are the exact measurements it gives me, regardless of the actual file size. I tried just exporting a rectangle and got the same thing.
If I uncheck "maintain original size" and uncheck "maintain aspect ratio", try to correct the size, by either percentage or inches, the other dimension automatically adjusts as well. And it refuses to let me alter both measurements to 100% - one will drop to 38% and the other will drop to 76% - what those numbers are based on is beyond me as well, as they're nowhere close to what I type in...or even what Corel shows as the file's 'original' size in the first place.
What on earth happened? Does anybody know? This is almost the last straw with Corel - I'm about ready to convert to Illustrator and be done with it. I will do a system restore regardless, just because I don't imagine it could make it any worse. But if anyone else has gone through this and has any help, I'd be eternally indebted.
