Not all the time, but sometimes when I click on the little close x in the right-hand upper corner of a program, my whole computer restarts. Sometimes when I click on cancel, too. Not all the time. But unexpectedly, for sure.

I installed Windows 2000 Professional, because I got tired of Windows 98 SE crashing 5 or 6 times per day.

Now what do I do?

Unload Norton Utilities. I get more service call attributed to Norton Utilities than any other software/hardware. This may help in your situation. [sig][/sig]
