Undocked Sync Problem

We are using Goldmine Sales and Marketing version 6.0

One of our undocked users is not able to sync with the server. From the server I created a new one button sync profile and e-mailed to his laptop. Opened the e-mail and chose to overwrite the existing profile and import the sync profile.
When syncing the process stops when sending the laptops sync version.
If I do a manual sync, from the laptop, and chose all the settings same problem.
I would blow away Goldmine on the laptop and re-install except the user has been working with the undocked profile for over a month with no sync of his data back to the server.

Any ideas?

Rob, thanks for the reply but over the weekend I was doins some testing and found that the sync folder on the laptop was corrupted. I renamed this to syncold and installed Goldmine undocked to a different location on the laptop. Then I copied the new sync folder to the correct location and presto I was able to sync.
