undock/resize panel

I have a panel that i show or hide by clicking on a checkbox. i would like to undock it and move it around? is that possible? if so, how do i do it?

Nope, i do not think that is what i'm looking for. I have a tpanel that is docked. I need to be able to undock it and move it around the screen. I want to move and resize thw whole panel. Not the individual elements inside the panel.

Hi,

You want to do something similar to Paint shop pro, where you have a dockable tool palette or something?

If so , it would be best to use forms not panels.
