I'm new to illustrator and I'm having trouble undoing actions that I take. In photoshop they have a history menu that has all the actions that you make and you can just click the back to the last one you want to keep. I haven't found anything similar in illustrator (I'm using 9.0), the only thing I have found to do is go to "undo" and that takes forever. any help would be great.
thanks

As far as I knoe History isn't there. However you can work in layers just like PS, so you can make changes on a new or duplicate layer and trash them if yu don't like them. Just open Window/Layers. Layer controls are reached by clicking the little triangle at the top of the Layers pallette.
