Undo is not working correctly

In the last couple of weeks I have noticed that when I click the undo button Im not getting the normal response. Instead of each amendment I have made to a design being undone one by one, some amendments are being undone then others totally missed out. I have also noticed that sometimes clicking the redo button does not redo an undone edit, instead it just leaves a block shape where the edit was meant to re-appear.

Does anyone have any ideas why this could be happening?

I've never had this problem before but you could try going to file | preferences and depending on which version you are using you should find somewhere in the menus a command to reset psp to original settings. (Sorry I can't be more precise but I'm at work with no PSP). If that doesn't work you may have to reinstall it.
