Understanding SHTML Directives

Hey all,

OK, I'm testing some code for my Intranet and the SHTML isn't working. Here's what's in the conf file:

Options +Includes
XBitHack on
AddOutputFilter INCLUDES .shtml

However, on my test server, only the last line is there and it works. Any suggestions? Do those first two lines need to be there?
