Hello,
I'm hoping to get some guidance and a better understanding of the Forwarding functions of our system.
So we recently upgraded out TDE600 systems with NS1000 (with an NSX2000 at our headquarters).
I am trying to understand all the forwarding option. Currently, the default it when a user get a call, and it's not answered in X-amount of rings (or seconds), it goes to their voice mail. If they are busy, it there is no ringing and the call is sent directly to voicemail. (Unless I remove "When Called Party is Busy" option, which sends the caller to the next PDN/SDN/Single CO Line if it exists).
As you can see in my pic, the User's default Intercept/NA time is zero, which uses the system default time (which is 20 seconds).
But if a user sets forwarding up for Busy/NA to go to a cell phone, they have a FWD/No Answer Time they can select either on their phones or their Panasonic Web Portal of 15 secs.
Where does this come into play? Does it override the system setting of 20 seconds?
So I'm trying to find a balance where a user sets their call forwarding (Busy/NA) to go to an outside number, and that outside number rings until someone answers or the CELL PHONE voice mail picks up.
And then when the user turns off fowarding, their call go back to Panasonic voice mail after x-amount of seconds for Busy/NA calls.
Many thanks!
