I inherited reports from somebody who left my employer. I need to do some revisions in the reports but a lot of formulas need to be identified. I would appreciate if somebody can tell me what this formula does.

select {IV00101.ITMCLSCD} [1]
case "T": "Beauty Product"
case "B": "Dental Product"
default: "Misc."

dukester:

The formula is selecting the first character of {IV00101.ITMCLSCD} and then determining if it is a "T", "B", or something else. If the first character is a "T" then it is a Beauty Product, if it is a "B" then it is a Dental Product, otherwise it is just Misc.
