Hi
I'm looking for help understanding the results of a software audit. All i want to know is what software is on the pc's but it's very confusing. Is there an easy way to turn the results from gibberish (we seem to have loads of different versions of office for example, actually loads more versions that we actually have pc's!) into something that is easy to understand... like so a manager could look at it and see that we have so many versions of office, so many versions of windows etc etc

Somebody please help !

You need to create queries containing the different versions for specific SW.

Cheers,
Chris

Cheers Chris thanks for your reply.

Any idea where i could get some examples of these queries ?

Cheers
Craig

There are several canned reports similar to what you're requesting. Specifically reports in the 'Software - Companies and Products' section. Right-click on one of these and select Properties. You'll be able to view the query used to generate the report. If it's not exactly what you're looking for it should give you a good starting pointing for developing your own query.
