Hi,
I'm very new to Dreamweaver, but have finally got something on the web, however, when I first started out I put an under construction page up whilst working on the rest of the project. I called this page "default". Now that the site proper is ready I can't get rid of the under construction "default" page. I know that I am doing something very stupid, but what???
Many thanks
Chris

Have you looked at your site from a different PC? I had the same problem and actually still do to some degree...when I make a change everyone else sees the change but me...I have been thru every troubleshooting method available... the page is being stored on my pc and when I call it up it pulls the page from my Harddrive rather than from the server. And yes I delete all the cookies,History, Temporary internet Files, etc. and I use the shift+refresh and a ton of other methods but all to no avail.

Now that I realize everyone else is seeing the change I am able to live with it. It eventually makes the change on my pc after a few days and luckily I do not do web design for a living at the moment.

I assume you have specified another page as default.htm ... if not you need to either do that or just name your home page index.htm and then delete the default.htm from your server. Ya' Gotta Love It!
