I am getting hundreds of auto replies from AOL.com for undeliverd mail to non existent AOL email names that I did not send.
The replies are to mail sent from an address which is mine with a few letters attached to the name i.e
My address is j.bloggs@xxx.co.uk
The address where the mail is being originated is
j.bloggsadv@xxx.co.uk.
Each message is sent with a slightly altered false address
j.bloggsadc@xxx.co.uk etc.

The mail is mailshot advertising from some on-line language school.

Is this just some spammer that I have to put up with or is there anyway I can resolve this.

Grateful for any pointers
Regards

It is a spammer but you should talk to AOL about the situation to see if they can help. Not much you can do from your end.
