Hi Folks

For some odd reason, once in a while, legitimate emails instead of being sent will be routed to the undeliver folder in MX.
Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Thanks

There are many reasons that legit mail would not be sent and the only real way to find out the cause is to scour the mail logs. It could be that the mail server was having an issue at the precise moment that CF tried to connect to it, which would result in the mail being send to the undeliverable folder.

I beleive that there is a CFX tag around (someone here might know the name) that can be setup to move the mail back into the spool every so often. You can script this yourself but there are a few potential issues that you need to code for as well so you would be best finding a CFX and seeing how it works.

Hope this helps

Also you can set cf up to log emails sent/not sent. That way the log may provide some insight into why the mail was not sent
