How can I undelete a folder in Outlook Express 6 ?
I was deleting an email but somehow selected and deleted the whole folder.
Where do I look on Windows ME to find where the files are stored ?
I tried a restore point and this did nothing. (obviously)

Is it just a case of the first 2 bytes being reversed ?
Can I find it in the registry ?

Does anyone have any ideas ?
It's not all my directories but a subdirectory that contains many receipt/acceptance messages etc.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

The whole folder is likely to be within your 'deleted items' folder. Click the + to expand the deleted items.

I wish it was.
Thanks, but I've already looked there and everywhere else within OE.
It looks like I've deleted it completely rather than just moved it to a trashcan type folder.

You could try some file recovery software like pcinspector. You'd be looking for the .dbx file with the same name as whatever the folder was. If you manage to find & recover it, you'll then need to delete the file folders.dbx to have it re-appear within OE.

I wonder what windows renames the file when it deletes it.
I've searched for .db* and various combinations.
