I am on a Novell network. I plan to set up login scripts that will launch an XCOPY command as users login. I need to copy update files from the file server to the local hard drive into an independent directory (not within C:\WINDOWS.)

Is there a switch I can use with the XCOPY command that will perform the copy unconditionally. I have to avoid the Windows screen that requires user response to overwrite existing files. Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.

In xcopy their is an option to overwrite files witout prompting the user the extension is /y. if you want to see the whole help file use xcopy /? > help.txt and then view help.txt.

hope this helps
moses
tmoses@iname.com
<a href= my site
"We've heard that a million monkeys at a million keyboards could produce the
