Hi all, Just had the phone bill. The ISDN adapter has been dialling up the internet about once a week and staying on for anything up to 12 hours! Rushed over to the computer and found it was apparently disconnected. The taskbar Icon wasn't there and in Network connections it's status was disconnected.
This is where it gets weird as I established it was actually connected. The internet worked, and if I tried to dialup it said adapter was busy. Yet the status was still disconnected and the network connection was missing from the taskbar. Restarted computer and all was well. Tried Norton, and an online virus checker but all OK. Adaware didn't come up with anything significant. I am using a BT ISDN dialup adapter.
Any ideas? Thanks, James
