I finally got my unbound object (MS word) to print on a report. I can't print 2 pages but I got around that also. The problem I am having is that the object on the report which was set up originally seems to be a magnet to the report. I can take that word doc and move it to my desktop and modify it and it will change on the report. If I delete it then the report goes back to the original contents of the report. It is exasperating to say the least. How can I break that link? I was going to have the user create the document in a folder and after I was done, I was going to move it to a saved folder and have him create another one next week. If there was nothing to create, then the subreport would not print anything. So much for logic. No matter where you put that thing, the access report (unbound object) finds it and prints it! You can move it to your desktop and it still finds it.
There has to be a bug in ACCESS. This can't possible be correct. Can anybody verify?
Thanks,
Remember when... everything worked and there was a reason for it?
