Unbound Image in Report Header 1

Hello,

I have an image stored as an ole Object in a table which changes periodically (for report logos). I would like to be able to use an unbound image control and use a lookup to display the image stored in the table. To date I have been unable to do this programmatically.

My workaround has been to use subreport with a bound control which works for me but I am curious...

Anyone know how to refer to an ole object embedded in a table
and display it in an unbound frame?

Why not use a bound control and refer to the image's address in a folder on your hard drive (changing the recordsource programmatically as needed)?

Because these databases go out to job sites and it is more convenient to save one small image to a table rather than link
to an external folder.

As I said, I am using a bound control in a subreport, which works fine

I am curious though, as to if this can be done using an unbound frame in the main report header. I have not been able to 'read' the contents of an ole field into an unbound frame.

I would create a very simple, small subreport that has only the bound image. You can then insert this subreport in any other report as needed.

I actually found the second link a while back - just didn't read down far enough and that works. I don't know that it actually gains me much, but it is nice to have an alternative method for displaying images.
