Hello mates

access 2003 adp project / sql server 2000

I have a form in datasheet view which shows a list of suppliers from a sql table. I have added an unbound checkbox so that users can select from the list and then click a button at the bottom of the form to send out an automated email.

The maddening thing is that you click one checkbox & it checks them for all the records

How do I correct this behaviour or achieve the functionality in a different way?

Thanks

You cannot have functional unbound controls on datasheets or continuous forms.

Use a list box to display the suppliers and set the control to multi-select. Another option is to create a temporary table of suppliers with a yes/no field for selecting.
