What happens to unanswered target line DID's if they are called, but not assigned to any particular ext.? Do they just roll to the prime set after XXX amount of rings? or go somewhere else like Gen. Delivery MB?

Money may not buy you happiness, but in MLB it buys you CHAMPIONSHIPS. (27 and counting). MLB,stands for Major League Baseball for you slower Boston Fans!

In the settings for the target line you specify what you want to happen to unassigned DID or any other line for that matter. By default they are sent to the prime sets immediately without delay. You can also return a busy if you want. If you want them to go to the GD box, just program the CallPilot DN as the prime set. By default, the prime is the first system DN, i.e. 221.

Okay oldestgeek along those same lines, And don't ask me why my customer wants to do this, but he currently has an Avaya I.P. office and wants us to convert everything the Avaya does over to a bcm 450 with all the bells and whistles. Anyway he wants to be able to send a busy signal to any UNASSIGNED DID that is called even if it is not on busy, he is able to do this in the I.P. office via short codes. But not sure how to accomplish this in the BCM.

On the unused target lines, Preferences tab, If Busy dropdown tab, change to Busy Tone. Since it isn't assigned antwhere, it will be always be considered busy and will return a busy tone.

I have used a "The number you have called has been disconnected, please check the number and try your call again". You can find a great recording of this on the internet. I then put that into a CCR/Info on an unused table with no company greetings. I usually have it repeat a couple of times. Then I have the CCR/Info disconnect and I programmed all unused target lines to answer using the defined table with zero rings.
