UNABLE TO VIEW TEXT FIELD

Hi,
Is it a text or is it a memo field and how long is it?
Can it be placed in a report and be displayed?
Do other fields from the same record display fine?

All other fields in the table are visable
cant drag it into a report because cant see it in the table viewer
It is a text field

Try verifying the database (database->verify database).

Nope I have already tried that plus taking out the table and relinking. Its as thought the field isnt there but the vendor insists it is (SQL db) and on his install of crystal he can see the field in the table

Driver or dll issue???

Hi,
I have never known a driver issue to only affect one field.
Are you looking at a table or a view?
Can you connect directly ( using SqlServer's query tool) and see the field?
