I am trying to view Netware servers over a 2Mb link. I am able to ping the servers on the other side of the link but can only see\login to Netware servers this side of the link.

I am using 4.83 SP1 client on WIN2K.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Check your SLP configuration, is the server side of SLP set up correctly? Do you have your DA object and your SU object in your tree? Does your SA servers have an entry in the SLP.CFG file for the DA server? Do your clients have to multicast to get thier SLP info or do you enter it in staticly or posibly deliver it with DHCP?

One way to bypass problems with SLP is to not put any tree or context info in the client log in and for server name, just put the IP address for the server your trying to get to in. Brent Schmidt CNE, Network +
