Hi,

I am unable to view other computers on My network places. The following error appears: Unable to browse the network. The network is not present or not started.

My Windows 2000 Server in running on a Dell Dimension 2400. I can connect to the Internet as well as ping all of the following: my router; my main server with Active Directory; and every other computer in my network. My main server can see it on its network places. I didn't setup this server but I need to make it work.

Any ideas will be appricated.

Joseph

Joseph,
is the server computer added to your active directory? is file and print sharing installed on the network connection properties? you can also try from the command line: net start netlogon
hope this helps!
