Hi all,

I've recently purchased two cisco 2811 and I have inserted network module. The network module has 2 ethernet and 2WICs.

The problem is I can't see the interfaces when I do a show ip int brief. However, I can see the module when I do a show inventory.

I've read how other people have had similar problems and the way to resolve it is to create vlans. However, I don't see how that helps as the vlans has to be associated with an interface, and if I can't see the interfaces I can't associate it. Below are the show commands I mentioned above.

You will see that all that can be seen are the onboard interfaces.

Cisco IOS Software, 2800 Software (C2800NM-ADVENTERPRISEK9-M), Version 12.4(15)T
