hi
Have published a cube in upfront which has drill through cubes(4 of them) - when the(+) drill through icon on the parent cube is selected it correctly brings up the links of the drill through cubes .. but when any of these drill through cubes is selected it throws the following error:

"The request failed because there is no valid cube mapping to handle the request "

Which version of PPES are you using??

With 6.61 , drill-through cubes must be at the root level in PPES admin not in sub-folders.
I think it s the same with PPES7.
With PPES 7.1, you can specify the Newsbox where the cube is, so no limitation in this case.

thanks
that was exactly the problem

The version that we are using is 7.1.168.0
Still could not figure it out where you can specify the folder in PPES for the drill through cubes...

If we keep the "to be drilled" cubes at the root level it works fine.

Draoued,

Could you specify where exactly you need to change the setting/property to get it work so that to be drilled cubes can be placed in any folder in PPES?

It exists since 7.1.341 (ppes7.1 mr1).
Seems that ppes7.1 doesn't have it yet.

In 7.1 mr1:
See:It says :
PowerPlay administrators can now specify an Upfront NewsBox as a cube setting when defining
drill-through targets rather than relying on objects having to reside in the root server folder. If a
NewsBox is specified, the drill-through target name specifies a NewsItem in the specified
NewsBox.
If the NewsBox is not specified in the drill-through definition, the object is searched for in the root
server folder.

Draoued,

Thanks a lot for the info..
You are right .. with our vesion, it's not possible.

Regards..
