Howdy!

I have a Windows NT Server with sp6 and IIS. I have implemented a virus software for the FTP site. The software requires the default ftp port for its configuration.

The FTP Site works perfectly when it is set to the default port. However, when I change the port for the FTP site to any other available port, it is unable to display the contents of the folders. (I get the flashlight scanning until it times out trying to get the contents of the folder.)

Thanks for any help

Steve

Your client will be trying to use the default port. Try typing the address with the port into IE. It should look like this:
ftp://ftp.host:23

23 is the default, change it to your custom port and it should work. Cheers,
Sam
