Unable to view a website

Good Day;
I'd like to visit certain website that required the Java 1.4.2 to be installed on the PC... I've downloded and installed it on my PC.... but while loading the Java Applets the following error message appeared:

"java.lang.no classDef found error:Org/apache/xerces/parsers/DOMParser"

and the website failed to continue....

Please Advise
