Has anyone managed to get UMS working via EWS? I have made several attempts and had no success. My issues always seem to be centered around the autodiscover portion.

Using either the SOAP or POX URL, I always get these messages in the logs:

VMEWSAdvise() Mailbox=[Generic] EmailId=[generic@test.com] AutoDiscoverURL=[]
IVRNode::RefreshCallFlowData - File date has NOT changed, so use current call flow
GetUserSettings() : Unexpected Axis Exception at Autodiscover.cpp : 444.
VMEWSAdvise() Failed get EWS URL information. GetUserSettings() failed. [Unexpected Error]
Error (hr=) from EWSAdvise for mailbox "Generic".
< CEWSImpl::EWSAdvise()

Testing the autodiscovery outside of VMPro, POX always works perfectly. When I use the SOAP URL, I always get the error: HTTP error 400 Bad request. I get this error using SOAPe, AutodiscoverTest.exe, and the built in Exchange test, Test-OutlookWebServices.

When I check the autodiscover and EWS logs for IIS, there is never a single entry for the VMPro server connection. I do see log entries for my test tools though.

Testing with:
IPO SE 9.1.4
Outlook 2010 SP3 Rollup 11 on Windows 2008 R2

HI Having similar issues getting EWS to work with VM Pro. Did you manage to get his working. Are you able to give some pointers.

Thanks

EWS is still not working right, but I do have a work around. In IIS on the exchange server, you need to set the default domain for EWS and autodiscover to your domain. E.G. contoso.com. You set this by right clicking on the authentication type (basic? I can't recall right now.) Otherwise, the instructions are correct. You don't need to change the POX autodiscover address to SOAP, and you don't need to change your EWS address, as the instructions say.

Also, you have to be 9.1.5 or higher. Didn't work at all before 9.1.5.
