'Unable to update public free/busy data. You do not have sufficient permission to perform this operation on this object. See the folder contact or your administrator; error. We are on Exchange Server 5.5 using a Outlook 2000 frontend. 1 user is getting this error about 1 time a day. She is set to update her own free/busy every 30 min. Any ideas?

This happened to me when I migrated exchange from one temporary server to the new server. I didn't have all the mailboxes moved over and there were still some setting that pointed to my old exchange server. Is this what you did?

I'm getting this message, too. I'm migrating from Exchange 5.5 to 2000 and have them both co-existing with ADC. I've only noticed this on one user. What gives?

Thanks

There is a utlity called 'guigen' or something like that which is mentioned an a Microsft KB article. I used it once to get rid of the 'public free/busy error' when I moved exchange 5.5 from one server to another. Look up the error in the KB and you should find it.
