I'm having a problem, in that most of the queries in the database I'm using don't allow me to update the data in the query its self. There are a couple of the queries that for some reason do let me update data. I don't see any obvious difference between the queries that I can update, and the ones that I can't. Is there something that I'm missing?

Unable to update data in queries

It all depends on the structure of the table(s) that the query uses to gather data. You should tell us about the table structures and give us the SQL for the queries. An example of one that works for you and one that does not would be most helpful.
