Unable to Stop/Modify/Delete "ACTIVE" job 2

I am running Arcserve 2000 Advanced Edition v7.0 (Build 1100). I have a job that was supposed to run a Full backup on Friday, well I came into the office on Sunday and the job was showing as ACTIVE, but it was stopped at 63% and had been so for the last 34 hours or so. I tried to stop the job, it said it was "Stopping..." for well over 3 hours. I came back from lunch and decided to try to reboot the box as this has helped things along in the past. After rebooting the server I was still unable to Stop/Modify/Delete "ACTIVE" job. Any suggestions? I tried to stop the services and remove the job, but it still shows as active giving me the following message and error:

Message: The job is active. Do you want to stop it.
I select OK and get the following error:

Error: Failed to stop this job.

It produces no error code. Thanks for any help.

Apply the patch,

Then restart the job engine service...

If you want to delete a job...

Find the Queue ID of the job .. For Eg : 1

then delete 00000001.Job in the QSD folder and recycle the job engine service..
