We are using two clustered servers with one instance on each.
i changed the SQL Server port number for the first node instance. and then when i try to restart the service from cluster administrator it is getting failed after displaying "Online pending" for sometime.
I tried to failover all the resources from fisrt node over to second node by doing a reboot of the first server.
but still the SQL Server service is not starting for the first instance.
please help me out.
