During the install, I choose to start services after installing. After the install, it attempts to start the services, however, it is unable to do so. The first service it tries to start is the 'Crystal Reports Cache Server'. The error is:

Error 1920. Service 'Crystal Reports Cache Server' (BOBJCRystalReportsCasheServer) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient priviledges to start system services.

I have the options to Abort, Retry or Ignore. I am logged in as the administrator so I'm not sure what the problem is. If I Ignore, it does the same thing with subsequent services.

Thanks!

Hi,
Your login does not matter..It is the account under which the service runs that counts..Check the Properties of each service and be sure they are running under an account that has sufficient rights to the specified directories that they use..If all are local to the server, you should be able to have them run under the LOcal System account.

The directories and entire install is local to this one server. The default configuration for the services is the local account. I even changed this manually to the administrator and the services still fail.

Also, if I try to start the services manually through the CCM, the error is:

SvcMgr
The Service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

The event viewer shows an error with procDest.exe, but I do not know what that is.

Thanks again!
