Hi,

I've just installed Nav 2000 v 6.00.03 on Windows 2000 Professional

AutoProtect doesn't work. I get a dialogue box with the message Unable to Start NavAp when I try to enable AutoProtect.

File scanning and email protection seems to work OK; it found and quarantined two viruses when I first installed it and the email check icon is in the system tray.

Win2K is up to date as regards Windows Update Critical Updates and Service Packs.

I would be grateful for any suggestions.

Mike

HI

What virus did it find?

You might still be infected, probably with KLEZ.

If the anti virus places a copy of the infected file in the Quarantine, it does not guaranty that the original ifected file was removed.

You should try one or more of the following:

* Connect the hard disk as slave to a clean computer with updated working anti virus, and scan your drive.

* Download the specific removal tool for the virus you had/have from:
Use the removal, then reinstall anti virus if needed, update the AV and scan again and again until no virus found.

Bye
