I have a windows NT4.0 (latest patch) with Exchange 5.5 (latest patch). The Users can recieve emails from any domain but they can't send to certain domains. The email bounce back.
The router has a public/Static IP number but the Server has a Private/Static IP number.
Someone told me about the SMTP Virtual Server but I can't find it anywhere.
I appreciate if some one can give me a solution on that.

There is NO SMTP virtual Server on an Exchange 5.5 server. It uses a service call the Internet Mail Service (IMS) to talk to the internet.

Your bounced mail can be caused by your DNS number not able to see the other domains. In which case, you can change to other ISP's DNS numbers or build a DNS server on your network. Change these DNS numbers in the TCP/IP properties of NT4 server and check the queue in the IMS.

Thanx Dennis, I will try to use different DNS number.
