Access 2003 database FE/BE split. System has been fine but all of the sudden when one user updates information and saves the data, the next person who tries to retrieve the record cannot see the changes. If the original user gets out of the system totally, then the other users can see the update. If there is only one user logged on and they make changes, go to another record and back, it works fine. I don't know why this would happen all of the sudden. the only thing that has changed during this time is some share drives were moved to another server but not this one.

Has anyone ran across something like this before?
Thanks

A person who edits or adds a record must either leave the record or push a save in order for the record to be saved to the database. If another user has a form open that has already retrieved the records, the changes made by others aren't typically visible without a refresh and/or requery.

Duane,
What would I refresh? We use ssql to update the data. Would it be the actual table like tablename.refresh?

I did me.refresh on the form_activate().
Thanks everyone

If you are using 07 version, check the access options. I ran into similar problem before and that fixed it for me.
